who we are
The one and only seasoning used at Gaston’s IGA in Selma, Alabama since 1957. Designed for steak, but truly good on all meats – hamburger, pork chops, ribs, roasts, tuna steaks, salmon filets, all wild game...even vegetables!
Born in the butcher shop of Gaston’s IGA as a seasoning for fine, hand-cut steaks, our family recipe quickly developed a loyal and faithful following.
It’s popularity grew and soon everyone was asking for it on just about everything we sold. The smell of the spice and seasoning blend is unmistakable, as is the taste.
Gaston’s Seasoning truly is “God’s Gift to Steak,” but can be used on so much more – burgers, roasts, fish, poultry, pork, wild game, and even vegetables! For over 66 years, Gaston’s Charcoal Seasoning has been taking grilling to the next level!
